YAY is a digital gift card app with over 100,000 users and 1,500 partners. Víkonnekt‘s junior and senior react developers work with YAY on a daily basis. Together, we‘ve achieved significant successes over the past two years. We‘re fully integrated into YAY‘s team—birds of a feather and all that.

The Árni Magnússon Institute is a steward of Icelandic language and culture, and works on innovative language technology projects. Víkonnekt supported their Captini project, which helps users improve their pronunciation of Icelandic by giving immediate feedback. We designed the platform‘s user interfaces and implemented its frontend.

Crowberry is an investment fund which works with early-stage technology ventures across the Nordics. Víkonnekt have partnered with the fund in order to help ensure that the technical aspects of managing their portfolio run smoothly and to help them with their technical product reviews.

Overtune gives users the superpower of producing music using only their smartphone. Víkonnekt partnered with Overtune, providing an experienced iOS developer who assisted with R&D.

Wapp is a new type of travel guide for people on the move. The app helps users find their way around Iceland’s walking trails, peppering their travels with information about the areas’ histories and geographies, as well as the geology of the places they explore. Víkonnekt assisted Wapp during their upgrade to a PHP/Laravel version of the app by debugging code and resolving other code-related issues.

Aurora Abalone practices sustainable harvesting of abalone, balancing farming technology with profound respect for nature. With Víkonnekt, they’ve pioneered the development of SustainCycle^TM by building the necessary digital gateways to launch their program.
